Waco, a little wacky but also really cool {street + travel photography}
I have talked of my love of street photography often on this blog! Traveling and documenting a place and its people is one of my favorite pursuits. Earlier this year I got to visit Austin and Waco, Texas. Austin will get its own post but here is Waco. Yesterday Target and Magnolia announced that Joanna Gaines would be bringing a line of her home design to Target and I am one of those who is super excited! I am kind of grateful I took so long to share these images because the timing is perfect! Watch out hubs…I dont have to go to Waco to get Joanna stuff anymore.
Waco was a fascinating place, still so very small town Texas, but with this booming mecca in the middle of Magnolia. It also has a gorgeous riverwalk area and of course the beautiful campus of Baylor University. Seeing a touch of the Gaines family almost everywhere was a testament to their mission and Joanna’s impeccable design taste. Their complex at the Silos was so well thought out and perfectly planned. It was such a visually awesome place to photograph and visit. I hope you enjoy this!
Also I was in Texas with these three, and well they are my favorite…so all the better!
