The last three weeks…

I am just going to do a catch up post to cover everything that I have been doing in the last three weeks. Pre – Everyday in May was great because I was so busy shooting I didnt have a lot of time for interneting, that is the way I like it! And as you can probably tell now that it is Everyday in May I have had trouble keeping up as well. I am hoping to get caught up this week though. I know you all wait with baited breath to see what I shoot each week (sarcasm) so hopefully you havent felt too left out. This is a monster of a post so kudos to you if you make it all the way through, you must really love me.

Well starting on April 19th I got to do some fabulous family portraits/engagement pictures. My fabulous friend Abby (who was also my church youth leader when I was growing up) lost her husband Barry to cancer about two years ago. She has five wonderful children and she is very dear to my heart! I was so excited to hear that she has found love again with the amazing Mike Armstrong! Mike also has five children, so I got to spend some time with them and their soon to be ten children! Because Mike and Abby are about the same age all their children are also about the same age, it is kindhttp://www.blogger.com/img/gl.link.gifa like having five sets of twins! Here are a few of my favorites and are the rest. I loved being with you guys and CONGRATULATIONS!

Literally right after I shot their pictures my family and I headed down to California. My husband’s brother lives down there so we visited them and checked out where we might be moving to come summer 2009 (San Diego). While I was there I took some fun pictures of my little nephews Ethan and Luke blowing bubbles. They are gorgeous children so I had a great time photographing them and also doing a self portrait. I am a cheese. 🙂

At the end of the week, I did family pictures for my sister-in-laws family. They all live there in Southern California and since we are especially close with Steve and Camilla (my husband’s brother and wife) we have also become close with Camilla’s entire family. First I shot a whole series of family pictures for Camilla’s sister. I love you Johnsons! They have two adorable little girls. Amerie is the baby and was just happy as can be the entire time. Ellie, their oldest is an adorable spitfire, and was actually feeling a little sick that day, but was still gorgeous. She is totally into the growling phase of smiling. I love kids! Next we did the entire family down on the beach which was great fun and convinced me (again) that I should live in Southern California. It is so gorgeous and being a photographer I just love shooting down there. Dont worry I still love Vegas too! Here are a few of my favorites from the Powers shoot. Here are the rest!

And I just had to include this picture of my darling niece Ella. I shot this a couple weeks ago, and I just love her eyes. They just make me want to sing Brown Eyed Girl. Of course I am not at all partial having brown eyes myself.

If you made it to the end of this post congratulations! You are the coolest. Maybe if you leave a comment AND email me you will get a special surprise in your email box. You have to do both. I would love to get more comments on this blog so if you ever have anything to say just say it. I love feedback!
