I loved capturing the love in this couple portraits photography session. I rented a lens during my trip out west and with my kids gone at cousins camp I did not have a lot of subjects around to practice with. Taking these two beautiful people out to Red Rock with that Canon 85mm 1.2 was like a dream! A photography session is completely focused on the children, so often. A session completely devoted to the parents of three lovely children was so much fun. This couple has been married twelve and half years and have been together since they were sophomores in high school. Did I mention this is my brother? Sure love these two.
I loved this lens and took all these photographs with the Canon! But the price and speed of the Sigma made me ultimately choose it for my 85mm prime. Red Rock is one of my favorite Las Vegas locations! Not everyone sees the beauty of the desert, but it is a gorgeous landscape. A mini session is a great time to do couple portraits. I loved taking this time to capture the relationship that started a family. When your children look back they will treasure photographs of the two of you so much!

Anna, these are incredible – so much love and soul. And your brother did well, very well – gorgeous sister in law you have! I can’t help but notice that your brother and his family live in Las Vegas and please know how heartbroken we all are here down South in Georgia. I can’t help but watch the news but can’t do it without tears. God bless your family there and may He provide healing during this horrific time. I do hope that none of your family or your brother’s family or friends were affected by the recent tragic events there.
